Diana Koster (Womens Reproductive Health Pod Member) will inform us regarding issues around reproductive rights and will provide talking points for conversations with the opposition or “the movable middle.”
We’ll discuss how we can help Tim Keller become our next mayor. There will also be discussion on gun control: What can we do on a local and state level? Bring your ideas!
In order to make attendance easier to plan, we are scheduling PAG meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning October 14 – 3:00-5:00 – Friends’ Meeting House on 5th St.
Women’s Reproductive Health and Immigration Pods planning to present mini-seminars at Oct and Nov meetings to help us all become more informed. January will see a mini-seminar from the Environmental Pod.
We are planning a holiday pot-luck for the Dec. 9th meeting.
NW Abq PAG members spearheaded the fund drive for Duranes Elementary School teachers to buy schoolroom supplies. Thanks to our Matthew Meadow neighbors for donating items and their time to make the Garage Sale a success. Thus far, the 3 NW Abq PAG garage sales raised $1,265 for the teachers.
